1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the MMI mobile application ("App"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily use the App for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained in the App
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials

3. User Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Privacy and Data Collection

We collect and process the following information:

• Personal identification information (employee number, name, email)
• Attendance data (clock in/out times, location, photos)
• Device information (device ID, push notification tokens)
• Usage data (app interactions, feature usage)

We use this data to:

• Provide attendance tracking services
• Send notifications and reminders
• Improve app functionality
• Comply with legal obligations

Your data is stored securely and is not shared with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.

5. Biometric Data

The App may use biometric authentication (Face ID or Touch ID) for secure login. Biometric data is stored securely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can enable or disable biometric authentication at any time in the app settings.

6. Location Services and Attendance

The App requires location access to record your attendance location for verification purposes. When you clock in, the App may collect and use your location (including in the background) until you clock out, so that HR can verify or fetch your location when needed during work hours. Location data is used solely for attendance and workforce management.

You are responsible for clocking in and clocking out correctly and in accordance with company policy. You must ensure that you clock in when you start work and clock out when you finish. Failure to do so may affect your attendance record and any location-based checks. You can manage location permissions in your device settings; if you do not allow background location, HR may contact you separately.

By using the App to clock in, you acknowledge that the App may fetch and use your location (including in the background) until you clock out, in line with these terms and our privacy practices.

7. Camera and Photo Access

The App requires camera access to capture photos for attendance verification. Photos are processed for facial recognition and are not stored permanently on your device. You can manage camera permissions in your device settings.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the App:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• To submit false or misleading information
• To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code

9. Disclaimer

The materials in the App are provided on an 'as is' basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

10. Limitations

In no event shall we or our suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the App, even if we or our authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

11. Revisions

We may revise these terms of service at any time without notice. By using this App, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
